يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التوصل إلى معايير تصميم برامج المحاكاة القائمة على الويب، وتقديم إطار عمل يتضمن العديد من الخطوات لتفعيل تلك المعايير، وهذا الإطار يتضمن العديد من الخطوات تشمل دراسة المعايير وربطها بالموقف الخاص بالمستخدم، وتقييم المؤشرات وربطها أيضا بالموقف الخاص بالمستخدم وتصميم أداة لقياس تلك المؤشرات، وتقييم المنتج في ضوئها، وبالتالي تعديل المنتج في ضوء هذا التقييم، وتقدم في هذا الإطار المقترح دليل للمستخدم ويتمثل هذا المستخدم في الجهات المختصة بتطوير برمجيات المحاكاة القائمة على الويب لتعليم الرياضيات، ما قد يسهم في تفعيل معايير تصميم التي تم التوصل إليها، للاسترشاد بهذا الدليل واستخدامه كأساس للتقييم، ويهدف هذا الدليل إلى مساعدة هذه الجهات على تصميم محتوياتها بصورة فعالة تضمن جودة التعليم، وتتمثل أهمية البحث في أنه قد يفيد القائمين على تصميم برامج المحاكاة القائمة على الويب باستخدام قوائم المعايير التي استخلصتها الباحثة لتقييم تطوير برامجهم، وكذلك الاستفادة من إطار العمل المقترح لتفعيل معايير تصميم برامج المحاكاة القائمة على الويب، و يتبع البحث الحالي المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، في عرض البحوث ودراستها وتحليلها، لاستخلاص المعايير، ثم عرضها على المحكمين، واستخلاص المعايير النهائية في ضوء آراء المحكمين، وتمثلت نتائج البحث في التوصل إلى قائمة معايير تصميم برامج التعلم الإلكتروني القائمة على الويب بصفة عامة، وقائمة معايير تصميم برامج المحاكاة لتعليم الرياضيات، وكذلك التوصل إلى إطار عمل لتفعيل معايير تصميم برامج المحاكاة القائمة على الويب لتعليم الرياضيات.
