The current research aims to identify the impact of the use of method of appointments in the collection of geographical material to the second grade average students and their attitudes towards art, formed the research sample of 67 students from the second grade students average of medium-Farabi for Boys, the General Directorate for Educational Baghdad's Rusafa / second, for the year the school (2014-2015). The researcher randomly picked Division (b) to represent the experimental group of (35) students, and the Division of (a) to represent the control group of (32) students. The two students was rewarded before the start of the experiment in a number of variables statistically a chronological age measured in months, and the educational attainment of the parents, and then try researcher adjust the number of extraneous variables that may affect the dependent variable, and select chapters (I, II and III), which will be examined in the experiment, and Researcher prepared plans exemplary in teaching the material specific experience, using the method of appointments to the experimental group, the traditional way (normal) for the control group students, and presented to the group of experts and specialists, and studied two groups himself. Prepared a final test of the researcher in the Arab world geographic material type (multiple choice) consisted of 30 paragraphs, make sure of his sincerity, and persistence, and extracted difficult and discriminatory power of paragraphs coefficient, then layer on the two sets of research. After analyzing the data using samples t test for two independent samples, the researcher suggested the presence of a statistically significant difference between the two groups of students search the collection at the level of (05, 0) for the benefit of the experimental group students who studied the Arab world geographic material using the method of appointments. As well as the presence of statistically significant differences in the average scores in the two sets of search trend towards the geographical scale material in favor of the experimental group differences. - In the light of the findings of the current research can be concluded as follows: 1) The use of the method of appointments in the teaching of geography for students of the second grade average leads to raise academic achievement in geographic material. 2) Check the way appointments self-esteem and self-reliance and confidence. 3) Ease of use of the way appointments are applied. 4) The method of appointments is working to make the student at the center of the educational process. - In the light of the conclusions reached by the researcher, it is recommended the following: 1) Provide the greatest possible facilities that help to use the method of appointments in terms of the share and volume of the classroom and the other time. 2) Encourage students to free reading and frequenting school and public libraries to read them so that they become behavior and practice inside and outside the school. 3) and seminars and specialized courses in modern teaching methods. - As a complement to the current search researcher proposes to undertake: 1) Similar to the current study in various stages of study. 2) a study similar to the current study in mixed schools (male / female). 3) A similar study of the current study on other variables (such as the acquisition of concepts, the development of thinking,.. etc.).
