التسرب الدراسي والتاخر يكونان مشكلة تربوية ونفسية واجتماعية واقتصادية لفتت انظار المربين وعلماء النفس في الإدارات المدرسية، فدرسوا أبعادها واسسها وطرق علاجها، وهي تمثل هاجسا لكل الاسر ولا يخلو بيت أو صف من صفوف المدرسة. هدفت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة حجم هذه المشكلة بمرحلة تعليم الأساس بولاية الخرطوم محلية شرق النيل وحدات أم ضوابان، العيلفون وأبودليق. كما هدفت لمعرفة العوامل التي تؤدي الى هذه الظاهرة، وهل هي تكثر في مدارس البنين عن مدارس، البنات كما هدفت هذه الدراسة الى لمعرفة رأي المدرسين وأولي أمر التلاميذ والقائمين على أمر التعليم بهذه المنطقة لعلاج هذه المشكلة. وشملت أوراق الدراسة استبانتين الأولى للمعلمين عن التأخر الدراسي والثانية لأولي الامر لمعرفة أسباب التسرب واختبرت العينات بطريقة عشوائية بواقع 15% لكل وحدة من وحدات الدراسة. وقد تم التأكد من صدق وثبات الاداتين قبل تطبيق الاداتين على افراد العينة ومن ثم تحليل النتائج الدراسية باستخدام الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية واستخدام مربع كاي 2. وقد أكدت نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة مباشرة بين التأخر الدراسي والتسرب وجميع الحالات المتضمنة في الاستبانتين، وبناء على ذلك أورد الباحث عددا من التوصيات والاقتراحات في كل مجال من المجالات بدءا من الأسرة والمدرسة وانتهاءا بالمسؤلين عن التعليم ويأمل ان يجد هذا الموضوع اهتماما كبيرا من الاسر والقائمين على أمر التعليم بالسودان. The academic drop-out and lateness make an educational, psychological, social and economic problem which drew the attention of educators and psychologists at schools administrations and they investigated its dimensions, basis, and methods of solution. It represents a concern for all families and no house or class of school is free of it. This study aims at identifying the extent of this problem at the basic level of education in Khartoum state, eastern Nile locality, units of Omdawwanban, Alielafoun and abudlaig.it also aims at identifying the factors which lead to this phenomenon, and whether it increases at boys schools than girls ones. This study also aimed to investigate opinions of teachers, pupils' parents and those who are in charge of education at the locality, in order to solve the problem. The tools of the study included two questionnaires the first one was a teacher's question about academic lateness while the second questionnaire was for pupils’ parents aiming at identifying causes of the drop-out. The study tested the samples randomly at rate of 15% per each unit of the units where the study was conducted. The validity and reliability of the two tools of the study have been confirmed before they were applied on individuals of the sample, then the results of the study were statistically analyzed by using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) and chi-square 2.The finding of the study confirmed that there is direct relationship between the academic lateness and drop-out and all of the cases included within the two questioners. Accordingly, the researcher presented several recommendations and suggestions at each field of the study fields beginning with family and school ending at those who are in charge of education, hoping that this issue would meet with the consideration of families and educators.
