تعد الإدارة الذاتية للمدرسة أحد المداخل الإدارية نحو التوجه إلى اللامركزية، التي تهتم بنقل السلطة وصنع القرار من المستويات المركزية إلى المستوى المدرسي، لذا يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على أهم متطلبات تطبيق الإدارة الذاتية بالمدارس الثانوية الحكومية في فلسطين، من خلال استخدام المنهج الوصفي. وقد خلص البحث إلى عدد من النتائج، أبرزها: 1) مواكبة مدخل الإدارة الذاتية مع التوجهات الحديثة في الفكر الإداري المعاصر، والتي لاقت قبولاً عند الإداريين والتربويين. 2) دعم الإدارة العليا في الوزارة لمدخل الإدارة الذاتية في المؤسسات التعليمية. 3) إمكانية تطوير قدرات العاملين للقيام بالعمل الإداري في أعلى مستوياته من خلال التطبيق الفعّال لمدخل الإدارة الذاتية. 4) إسهام الإدارة الذاتية في تطوير وتحسين أداء المؤسسات التعليمية والدقة والوضوح في العمليات الإدارية المختلفة. 5) إعطاء العاملين الدور الأكثر إستراتيجية في المؤسسة لتحسين ممارساتهم الإدارية من خلال تفعيل نمط الاتصال بالاتجاهات كافة. 6) ضرورة توافر رؤية محددة وواضحة للإدارة الذاتية تضم كل عناصر ومقومات ثقافة التغيير. 7) أهمية الدور الذي يلعبه القائد في نشر ثقافة عامة عن الإدارة الذاتية. The self-management of the school is considered as one of the managerial approaches towards decentralization. It is concerned with the transfer of authority and decision-making from the central level to the school level. Thus, the current research aims to identify the most important prerequisites of applying self-management in the public secondary schools in Palestine by using the descriptive approach. Utilizing the theoretical framework, the research was reached concluded a number of results, the most notably of which are as follows: 1) The self-management approach coping with modem trends in contemporary administrative thought, which gained acceptance among the administrators and educators. 2) The senior management support in the ministry to the self-¬management approach in the educational institutions. 3) The possibility of developing the officials’ capacity to do the administrative work at its highest levels through the effective application of the self-management approach. 4) The self-management contribution to develop and improve the performance of educational institutions as well as the accuracy and clarity in the various administrative processes. 5) Providing the employees with a more strategic role in the organization to improve their administrative practices by activating the pattern of communication in all directions. 6) The need for specific and clear vision for self-management that includes all the elements and features of the culture of change. 7) The importance of the role played by the leader in disseminating the general culture on self-management. 8) Emphasizing the leader's role in identifying and developing the strategies and flexible changeable plans as well as the developments taking place both inside and outside the educational institutions.
