هدف البحث إلى دراسة الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى مديري ومديرات المدارس الابتدائية وعلاقته بمهارات الاتصال، وتكونت عينة الدراسة الميدانية من 40 مديرا، 40 مديرة مدرسة ابتدائية بمحافظة بني سويف. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث، تم تطبيق مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي، وكذلك تطبيق مقياس مهارات الاتصال على عينة البحث. وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكاء الاجتماعي ومهارات الاتصال على جميع الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية، عند مستويين 0.01، 0.05 (كما تحقق بالفرض الأول)، وقد أكد ذلك فرض التحليل العاملي الذي أسفر عن وجود ثلاثة عوامل (كما تحقق بالفرض الثاني)، وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة أيضاً عن وجود فروق ذوات دلالة إحصائية واضحة عند مستوى 0.01 بين متوسطات درجات المديرين ومتوسطات درجات المديرات، وذلك في اتجاه المديرين في الذكاء الاجتماعي ومهارات الاتصال، كدرجة كلية وكأبعاد فرعية (كما تحقق بالفرض الثالث والرابع). The research sought to study the social intelligence in Elementary School Headmasters and Headmistresses. The field study sample was comprised of 40 elementary headmasters and headmistresses in Beni- Suef Governorate. To achieve the research objectives, the social intelligence scale and the communication skill scale were administered to the research sample. The research finding came to that there was a positive statistically significant relationship between the social intelligence and the communication skills on all dimensions and the total score at 0.01 and 0.05 levels (as shown with the first hypothesis). Furthermore, this was confirmed through the factor analysis hypothesis which concluded that there were clear statistically significant differences at 0,01 level between the mean scores of headmasters and headmistresses’ attitudes in the social intelligence and the communication skills as a total score and as sub dimensions (as shown with the third and fourth hypotheses).
