تهدف هذه الدراسة إلي تقويم فاعلية استخدام الحاسوب في تدريس التصميم الصناعي نسبة إلى الاهتمام بدراسات الحاسوب في الآونة الأخيرة وأخذها كوسيط تدريسي فاعل في قسمي التصميم الصناعي بكل من كلية الفنون الجميلة والتطبيقية/ جامعة السودان وجامعة أم درمان الأهلية بغرض دراسة وتحليل الصعوبات التي تواجه الطلاب في دراسة برامج التصميم وما هي المعوقات التي تحد من توظيف الحاسوب في تدريس المقررات وما هي جوانب القصور في مقررات التصميم الصناعي وكيف يمكن سبرها وما مقدار تمكن الخريجين والطلاب من البرامج الحاسوبية ذات الصلة الوثيقة بمهنتهم مصممين صناعيين. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي (المسح الميداني) القائم على المساءلة غير المباشرة للحصول على المعلومات الأساسية التي تجيب عن أسئلة الدراسة وفحص فروضها المحددة مسبقا. تم اختيار(60) عينة عشوائية ممثلة لطلاب الفصول المتقدمة في قسمي التصميم الصناعي بكلية الفنون الجميلة والتطبيقية وجامعة أم درمان الأهلية وخريجي ذات الأقسام بغض النظر عن مواقع عملهم سواءً كانوا معلمين في مدارس القطاع العام أو الخاص أو في أي مواقع عمل أخرى. تم استخدم برنامج (SPSS) لمعالجة البيانات إحصائيا. تمثلت أهم نتائج البحث في الآتي: 1) استخدام الحاسوب في التصميم كوسيلة تعلميه يعزز من القيمة التصميمية لأي منتج في إطار التصميم الصناعي من حيث الشكل والمضمون. 2) ييسر الحاسوب عملية التعليم ويجعلها أكثر جذبا وإثارة للطلاب لحل مشاكل التصميم المعقدة. 3) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مقدار تمكن الفئة المبحوثة من استخدام الحاسب من المحتمل مردها إلى الدراسة في المعاهد الخاصة وربما متغير سنين الخبرة. 4) استخدام الحاسوب في التصميم الصناعي يقلل من ألمدي الزمني الذي تستهلكه مراحل التصميم. 5) استخدام طلاب التصميم الصناعي لبرامج متعددة يؤدي إلى تجويد وجودة التصميم. ومن هنا يراه الباحث رفع مستوي عملية التعليم والتعلم عن طريق إتباع ما يلي: 1) توفير معمل خاص بمواصفات عالية بقسم التصميم الصناعي. 2) وضع منهج واضح ومدروس لتدريس الحاسوب في قسم التصميم الصناعي. 3) زيادة الساعات التدريسية المعتمدة لبرامج الحاسب. 4) أهمية وجود متخصص في البرامج الحاسوبية ذات صلة بالتصميم. 5) ألزام الطلاب بإعداد وتنفيذ وإخراج إعمالهم الفنية عن طريق برامج الحاسوب. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of computer use in the teaching of industrial design with respect to the to the interest in computer studies in the recent years, hence, the computer took place as an active instructional medium in the industrial design departments in the College of fine and Applied Art/Sudan University and Om Durman Ahlia University in order to study and analyze the difficulties faced by students in studying design programs and what are the obstacles Which limits the use of computers in the teaching of courses, what are the shortcomings of industrial design courses and how they can be amended and to what extent to the graduates and students are able to use computer programs that meet their needs as industrial designers. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach (survey research technique) as an indirect method of interrogation to obtain essential information that answers the study questions and examines its predetermined hypotheses. A total of 60 random samples were selected from the advanced classes in the industrial design departments of the College of Fine Arts and Applied and Omdurman National University and the graduates of the departments regardless of their positions whether they are teachers in public or private schools or in any other work sites. SPSS program was used to process the data statistically. The main results of the research were as follows: 1) The use of computer in design as a teaching/learning medium enhances the design value of any product in the framework of industrial design in terms of form and content. 2) The computer facilitates the process of education and makes it more attractive and exciting for students to solve complex design problems. 3) There are statistically significant differences among the selected research sample in their abilities to use the computer, possibly due to study in private institutes and perhaps their years of experience. 4) The use of computers in industrial design reduces the time consumed by the design stages. 5) Abilities of the industrial design students to use multiple programs leads to the improvement and quality of design. Hence, in order to raise the level of teaching and learning in both the Industrial design departments the following recommendations should be considered: 1) Provide the Department of Industrial Design with a computer Lab. 2) Develop a clear and thoughtful curriculum for computer teaching in the industrial design department. 3) Increase the teaching hours assigned for computer programs. 4) The importance of having a specialist in software related to design. 5) Compelling students should be directed to prepare and execute their works through the computer programs.
