هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف إلى مستوى التفكير التأملي ومستوى اتخاذ القرارات الادارية لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت، والتعرف فيما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ³ 0.05) في تصورات أعضاء هيئة التدريس عن مستوى التفكير التأملي ومستوى اتخاذ القرارات لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب تعزى لمتغيرات (الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة). كما هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على مدى وجود علاقة علاقة ارتباطية بين مستوى التفكير التأملي واتخاذ القرارات الادارية لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي الارتباطي، وتمّ تطوير استبانة مكونة من (62) فقرة. وتكوّنت عينة الدراسة من (308) عضو هيئة تدريس في معاهد الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت تمّ اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية البسيطة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى التفكير التأملي لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت جاء مرتفعا. كما أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت جاء متوسطا. كما تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (α ³ 0.05) في مستوى التفكير التأملي ومستوى اتخاذ القرارات الادارية لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لأثر الخبرة والمؤهل العلمي، وعدم وجود فروق تبعا لمتغير الجنس. كما أطهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ايجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α ³ 0.05) بين مستوى التفكير التأملي واتخاذ القرارات الإدارية لدى رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت. وبناء على ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من نتائج فقد أوصى الباحث بضرورة تدريب وحث أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية ورؤساء الاقسام في الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب في دولة الكويت على استخدام وتوظيف مهارات التفكير التأملي في التدريس وتدريب طلبتهم عليه، من خلال تنظيم الورش التدريبية المستمرة لهم في هذا المجال. This study aimed to identify the level of reflective thinking and the level of administrative decision-making among the heads of the academic departments from the point of view of the teaching staff members in the General Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait, in addition to identifying the statistical differences at level of significance (a 0.05 0.05) In the perceptions of the faculty members towards the level of reflective thinking and decision-making level of the heads of the academic departments in the General Authority for Applied Education and Training due to the variables (gender, educational qualification and years of experience). The study also aimed to identify the relationship between the level of reflective thinking and administrative decision-making among heads of academic departments. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method. The researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (62) items. The study population composed of all faculty members of the General Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait. The study sample consisted of (308) faculty members who were selected by simple random sampling method. The study concluded that. The level of reflective thinking among the heads of the academic departments from the perspective of the faculty members in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait was high. The results also showed that the level of administrative decision-making among the heads of academic departments from the perspective of faculty members was medium. There were also statistically significant differences at the level (α≤ 0.05) in the level of reflective thinking and the level of administrative decision making by the heads of the academic departments from the point of view of the faculty members due to the impact of experience and academic qualification, and the absence of differences due to (gender). The results also revealed a statistical positive relationship at the level of significance between the level of reflective thinking and the administrative decision making by the heads of academic departments in the General Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommended the need to train and encourage the faculty members and heads of departments in the General Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait to use and employ reflective thinking skills in teaching and training their students, through organizing workshops for them in this area.
