The aim of the study is to confirm the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral counseling program to develop the level of professional maturity in assisting the first year secondary student, of science and technology branch, who failed to balance his study object and his desire now of making the decision for the second year of study. An objective sample of 30 students, including 18 students, was divided into a pilot group of 13 pupils and 17 female officers. The results resulted in: 1) Improve the level of professional maturity of members of the experimental group that was exposed to the program. 2) Lack of improvement in the level of professional maturity of members of the control group for whom the program has been held. The results were interpreted in light of the results of the psychological and educational heritage and previous studies on the subject. The study culminated in a series of proposals and recommendations. (Published Abstract)
