The current research problem is determined by answering the following question: What is the image of the university faculty member from the point of view of their students. The researcher considered the importance of research in the following points: 1) The scarcity of Arab and Iraqi researches related to the subject of the image of the member of the university faculty. The current research is unique in its contents. The researcher did not find, according to her knowledge, a study corresponding to this research at the level of the Iraqi environment. 2) The importance of the university in building a society that requires keeping pace with change and its containment and adaptation to serve Iraq. 3) The availability of modern technology in all parts of Iraq and make it accessible to all, especially among university students created a desire to change the deal with them, educational and educational, which we need a new picture of the university professor to contain this change. The current research aims to identify the image of the university faculty member from the point of view of their students. The current research is limited to students of Mustansiriya University for the morning and evening studies of the faculties (Arts, Education, Science, Administration and Economics, Law and Engineering) and for the academic year (2014-2015) of (24333) students. The researcher built the current research tool and is a measure of the image of a member of the university faculty: it was built according to the theory of Gestalt and consists of (22) paragraphs, and consisted of the sample of building the scale and its application of (300) students of the University of Mustansiriya. The harmonic measure of interaction was characterized by the psychometric characteristics of discrimination, honesty and persistence. The researcher used the statistical bag (SPSS) to analyze the data. The researcher came to the conclusion: The image of the university faculty member from the point of view of their students approach the reality of the university professor. Based on the results, the researcher reached some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
