This study aimed at investigating the level of strategic management of basic schools principals in Amman and its relation to teachers’ organizational loyalty from their point of view. To achieve the objective of the study a stratified random sample consisted of (480) teachers (302) of them were males and (322) females were drawn in three educational directorates’ Al-Jama’a, Qwaisma and Sahab. Two questionnaires were developed. The first to measure the level of strategic management of basic schools principals while the second to measure the level of teachers’ organizational loyalty. The validity and reliability of the two questionnaires were achieved. The findings of the study revealed that the level of strategic management of basic schools principals was medium. Moreover, the level of teachers’ organizational loyalty from their point of view was medium. Also, it showed that there was a positive relationship between the level of strategic management of basic schools principals and teachers’ organizational loyalty from their point. And there were no significant differences in the level of strategic management of basic schools principals and teachers’ organizational loyalty from their point of view due to sex and academic level variables. Furthermore, the study revealed that there were significant differences in the level of strategic management of basic schools principals and teachers’ organizational loyalty from their point of view due to experience variable in favor of (6-10 years) comparing with (11-15 years). And there were significant differences in the level of teachers’ organizational loyalty due to sex variable in favor of females. Finally, it showed that there were no significant differences in the level of teachers’ organizational loyalty due to academic level and experience variables. The recommendations of the study were: 1) organizing training programs for male basic schools principals to focus on basic concepts of strategic management, its stages and importance. 2) Organizing training courses by the education directorates for managers by conducting a detailed program about strategic management, strategic management skills and its role in enhancing teachers’ organizational loyalty.
