The research aims to identify the trends of students in the Faculty of Languages at all departments towards the sports activities. It also aims to tell the difference and similarities between the trends of students who practice sports activities in the Faculty of languages towards sports and physical activities. The research was conducted on a sample who were selected randomly and represent 10% of the students in (6) departments. The research sample was 507 students. The researcher used Kenyon trends measurement towards physical and sports activities, which was translated into Arabic by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Allawi. The measurement consists of 54 items. After making sure that the measurement was valid and liable, the data obtained by the researcher by using statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient for Yerson, Altaia test, the percentage Act) was processed. The research results were as the following: There were no significant differences among the students towards the sports activities in all departments and in all the measurement dimensions. There were no differences in their trends in the departments, but they were so much close. Finally, the researcher recommended to keep up providing material and human resources necessary for the advancement of sports movement at the faculty level; and to reopen the physical education at the faculties of the University of Baghdad for the advancement of the sports movement and to make it a practice of physical activity to excel during competition.(Published abstract)
