The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of digital Stories on developing 6th graders’ mechanics of English writing in Gaza governorates schools and their attitudes towards English. The researcher used the experimental method of two groups. The study sample consisted of (65) sixth graders from Awni Alherthani primary “B” boys school, the directorate of education, North Gaza. The participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group which had (33) and the control group which had (32). The researcher designed a test of English mechanics of writing skills. The researcher also built an attitude scale to measure the attitudes towards English language. The study findings were: 1) Digital stories were effective to develop the English mechanics of writing skills for sixth graders. 2) There are statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) in the mean scores between the experimental group and the control group at the post English mechanics of writing skills test in favor of the experimental group. 3) There are statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) between the two groups’ attitudes towards English in favor of the experimental group. In the light of the results, the researcher recommends the adoption of digital stories in English classes to develop the mechanics of English writing skills and attitudes towards English, and also to train the teachers on how to use them in education. Key words: digital stories – mechanics of English writing – attitudes towards English. (Author's abstract)
