From the premise that education as seen Piaget aims to create men who can make new things, not to single repeat what became of the previous generations, it is natural that consist of efforts to activate the role of education, thus preparing the student active-reactive with the subject understanding and awareness of and is able to keep the information and facts responsibly and make sure full. The Learning information and understand the subject well, there will be rapid passage of the subject, or using ineffective or effort from the teacher only, or the development of the curriculum only, but is achieved by a deliberate strategy emphasizes a way for the development of understanding and conservation of the learner, And the majority of university students suffer from the difficulty of understanding and preservation of information during reading, and also difficult to remember after the save. Any inability to retrieve information previously saved perfection and accuracy of prohibitively high, and that of the large and congestion information and the similarity between them, which makes the students in a passive position of the study, do not have the desire to arm itself with the information and control over their lessons, to the great effort and a long period, which are being made to save the information and the speed of extinction and suspicion among them. The study aimed to identify the impact of the use of thinking skills to understand and save the information to the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Kufa. The researcher used the experimental method and the comparative sample was made up of (40) students from the Faculty of Physical Education - Phase II at the University of Kufa for the academic year 2010/2011. Were divided into experimental group and control group random way. After their teaching approach to sports training. Variable was introduced to the experimental group (the curriculum). And then was an achievement test, and then use statistical methods to verify the validity of your research hypothesis. The main conclusions of the researcher are: 1) That the use of students' thinking skills while reading the decisions of the university have a positive impact in the understanding and preservation of information. 2) The high level of educational attainment for students who have used the thinking skills to understand and save the information. The recommendations of the researcher are: 1) Introduce the subject of thinking skills, vocabulary within the curriculum and in particular the fact that our country is on the verge Curriculum development. 2) Emphasis on university students to use thinking skills when reading of the vocabulary of college.(Published abstract)
