Difficulties the Supervisors Are Facing When Guiding Al-Azhar University Graduate Students in the Gaza Strip and Ways of Overcoming Them From the Viewpoint of the Supervisors This study discusses the difficulties supervisors are facing when guiding and assisting Al-Azhar University graduate students in the Gaza Strip and Ways of overcoming them from the viewpoint of the supervisors. In this study, the researcher used the descriptive method. The researcher also made a research survey questionnaire on “the difficulties supervisors are facing when assisting their students”. The research survey questionnaire consisted of 120 supervisors. The results of the study showed the difficulties the supervisor is facing, as follows: the supervisor and their student[s] ( %61.94); the superior with panelists(%55.64); and the supervisor with the department( %53.28). The total score of the questionnaire obtained amounted to (57.40%). The study also showed there are statistical significances due to the[academic and nonacademic] differences between universities (e.g., Al-Azhar University and the Islamic University). The results were in favour of Al-Azhar University. The results showed that there are statistical significances due to the various fields of study or specialization (e.g., Human Sciences and Applied Sciences). The results were in favour of the humanities courses. They also showed there are statistical significance due to the various academic ranks(e.g., assistant professor, associate professor and professor). The differences between the assistant professor and associate professor were in favour of the assistant professor; and differences between assistant professor and professor were in favour of the assistant professor, in the areas of the three questionnaires The study showed that the highest paragraphs in ways to overcoming the difficulties was the paragraph which stated: "the need to expand scientific research by providing an electronic library is partnering with local, Arab and foreign universities in order to benefit in the research process," with a relative weight of (92.67%) and the degree of a very large, The results interpreted and introduced a group of recommendations.
