This study aimed at investigating The Application of Academic Department Heads in The Private Jordanian Universities in the Capital Amman to Knowledge Management and its Relation with the degree of scientific productivity From staff members point of view To achieve this objective a sample of 260 private university staff members were selected 197 were male and 63 female. Two Questionnaires were developed and their validity and reliability were achieved. 1) Some results of the study were as follows degree, and then knowledge management among heads of departments in the private universities in Amman was average from the point of view of staff members. 2) The degree of scientific productivity of faculty members in the private universities in Amman was average. 3) The result indicated a positive relationship statistical function between the variable applications of knowledge management among heads of academic department of scientific productivity.
