The objective of the current study was to identify the degree of possession of third grade secondary students of mathematical knowledge (conceptual and procedural) at the educational administration of Sabia, to collect data and analysis it the researcher used descriptive analytical approach, used a two-part test to measure conceptual knowledge and procedural knowledge. The study was applied to a sample of (547) male and female students. After the analysis of the responses, the study found that the degree of possession of the study sample of conceptual mathematical knowledge at an average level, and the degree of possession of the study sample of procedural mathematical knowledge at a low level. The study discovered that there is a positive correlation between the scores of students in the third grade secondary in the test of conceptual knowledge and their scores in the test of procedural knowledge, and showed that there is a difference between the average scores of the sample of the study in the test of conceptual mathematical knowledge for the benefit of female students, there is no difference between the average scores of male and female students in the test of procedural mathematical knowledge. The study also showed a difference between the average scores of male and female students in the third grade secondary in the tests of mathematical knowledge of conceptual and procedural as a whole for the benefit of female students. The study recommended attention to teach mathematical concepts, and the need for student access to understanding the mathematics concept, and the strengthening of procedural tasks to enable the student to perform the skill smoothly and easily, and raise the level of questions provided to the students, and the training of teachers on the conceptual understanding, and methods of teaching mathematics concepts and skills.
