This study aims at identifying the sample of the study which is independent people by relying on cognitive aspect in learning the skills of passing, shooting، and holding the ball in handball; and preparing exercises using training style for teaching the skills of passing and shooting in handball for the students of the second grade in the College of Physical Education and Sport Science, University of Diyala; then, investigating the efficiency of the style above. The researchers adopted the experimental method due to the suitability to the nature of the study. The study community consisted of the students of the students of the second grade in the College of Physical Education and Sport Science, University of Diyala in the academic year 2014-2015. The study community is consisted of 175 students while the sample of the study consisted of the students of three sections (A, B, and C) chosen randomly among the five sections of the stage with 25-30 student in each section. Consequently, the sample of the study consisted of 60 students. The sample of the pilot experiments consisted of 20 students from section D after the exclusion of several students from the sample of the study. The three groups in the sample of the study were equalized in the variables of age, height, and weight as well as the skills of passing and shooting in handball. The subject teacher executed the conventional educational method of the college. Then, the training method was prepared, organized, and then repeated on the independence group, dependence group and the mixed group targeting the cognitive aspect. The educational method lasted for 14 educational units on the rate of 2 units/group/week. The time of each educational unit is 90 minutes. After 21 days، the holding test was conducted.
