The nature and content of social interaction between family members plays a great deal of impact upon nurturing their children. Accordingly, this study aimed to investigate the status quo of family dialogue between parents and their children in Kuwaiti society: the nature of topics and issues they discuss, and the suitable time and space they choose to do so. To achieve that goal two electronic questionnaires were set: one for parents (composed of 24 items), and the other one for children (composed of 23 items). A sample of 1071 were chosen (567 among parents - 504 among university students), where they had been contacted through social media networks (What's App - Twitter). Results showed that the majority of parents and children conducted a fruitful dialogue, they were satisfied with the way they did it, it had achieved more harmony and stability in their life it had a positive and profound impact upon children's characters. The educational future of children was the most issue discussed, they were satisfied with the time devoted to do so, and finally they expressed a great deal of preference to have such dialogues inside their homes.(Published Abstract)
