The current research aims at identifying the best level of participation (individual / dual / group) and the best type of thinking aloud (retrospective / concurrent) for the mental activities in the synchronous virtual classroom and its influence in developing achievement and achievement motivation for the student / teacher of mathematics department. In addition, it aims at recognizing the best level of participation (individual - dual - group) and its interaction with the two types of thinking loudly (retrospectively - concurrently) for the mental activities in the synchronous virtual classroom, with its influence on developing achievement and achievement motivation for the student / teacher of mathematics department. This research follows the mixed researches that combine between two types of studies: the quantitative and the qualitative studies. The researchers use the achievement test to measure some cognitive levels, and a questionnaire to measure achievement motivation (prepared by the researchers) in addition to the direct observation, and interviews with experimental research groups. The results of the research confirmed exceeding the experimental group which studied by using group participation as well as the retrospective loud thinking type, this in some cognitive levels and achievement motivation. Moreover, the results of the research do not show any differences in the interaction between the levels of participation and the two types of loud thinking in the variables of developing achievement and achievement motivation. The study recommended the necessity of developing electronic learning environments which based upon group voice conversation activities and employing the modern teaching methods and strategies such as thinking loudly with its retrospective type.
