This research aims to study parents’ perspectives toward private tuition from class 1- 9, to highlight the benefit that comes after private tuitions from parents perspectives and to pinpoint the causes behind private tuitions from teacher’s perspectives. Through identifying problem that lead them to enroll their children into private tuition and the teaching methods that used by teacher to explain new concepts, highlighting the difficulties that may be facing parents of the first, second and third cycle to understand concepts and specifying the subject where pupils are enrolled in private tuition for and how we can engage them in the lessons .sampling in this study is a convenience conducted in basic Dora international school in Omdurman while the participants are selected purposively based on those who enroll their children into private tuition although they are studying in international school. This study was conducted qualitatively through qualitative tools including observations, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussion. The main findings of this study are the difficulties faced parents due to lack of knowledge and language to understand and explain new concepts .most of parents enroll their children into private tuition to achieve high marks while others because they have language problem and they cannot even revise with their children or lack of confidence. I recommend that school must increase the lesson time so teacher has enough time to explain and check students understanding by giving them class work and extra practice, schools must hold workshops for teachers continuously and use of resources and teaching aids that enable the teachers to teach in a clearer and more interesting manner.
