The research aims to present the following: 1) measuring the creative personality traits among the students of the third class at secondary schools. 2) Detect the difference in the creative personality traits between males and females. The limits of research are third class students in the district of Maysan for the academic year 2011-2012. Research community is consisted of third-year students at the center of the Mediterranean province of Maysan, for the academic year (2011- 2012), which amounts to the number (4086) students and by (1778) male and (2308) female. The research sample chosen by the current sample (7%) of the research sample consisted of (300) students where students numbered (150) male and (150) female were selected from three averages of the averages of male and three for female randomly. In order to determine the personality traits of creative students of the third, the researcher the belt a tool of study included a questionnaire on pilot sample of students from third class average in the province of Maysan, a sample of teachers, teachers and supervisors in order to identify creative personality traits in the light of their views, the researcher to determine (6) attributes, it included (32) items. The tool is characterized by validity. The determination of items are between (2.84 – 7.10) .the correlations between item degree and whole degree are between (0.34 – 0.57). Its reliability has been taken by retesting, research up to (0.87). The researcher used appropriate statistical methods for data processing, namely: 1) T test for one sample: to get to know the difference between the arithmetic mean of the sample and the average of the theoretical scale. 2) T test for two independent samples: to get to know the difference in the creative personality by sex. 3) Pearson correlation coefficient: for the detection of the internal consistency of the paragraphs of the scale and expense of stability. 4) T- test to detect a statistical significance for correlation coefficients. The results indicated: 1) The students of sample have a middle level of personality traits of creative. 2) There is no significance difference in the creative personality traits between males and females. According of search result the researcher has submitted some recommendations and suggestions. (Published Abstract)
