The main objective of teaching the Arabic language give the learner the ability to communicate clearly the proper language, whether oral or written communication. In order to lead the Arabic language and its function should be balanced attention to the teaching of its subsidiaries; to be completed within the unity of language, as the interest in the branch without the other leads to the weakness in the other branches of learning a language includes all weakness. The spelling with branches of the Arabic language and an integrated unit, designed to achieve the very ability to understand and mala, and in spite of its importance, the students suffer from a low level, which impedes scientific progress in their studies. And the importance of spelling, punctuation, including a researcher at the research aimed to identify the current level of punctuation at the Faculty of Languages students. To achieve the aim of the research researcher has chosen sections of German and French, and Russian language sections of the Faculty of Languages , the number of students in these sections ( 231 students), by (46) students , in the Department of the Russian language , and ( 83 ) students in the Department of the German language , and ( 84 ) students in the Department of French. The researcher identified a piece of a comprehensive, coherent paragraphs parts, and left without a piece of punctuation, leaving in its place a vacuum, subjects were asked to fill in the blanks punctuation that should be put in place all the vacuum. 1) After applying the experience researcher found after correction to test high-altitude errors and 67%, and this indicates the presence of a very low level in punctuation when students sections. 2) In light of the results the researcher recommended several recommendations, including: 1) Attention to the lessons of dictation in various stages of study. 2) Authored a booklet on how to use punctuation, and usage rules that because of its importance in correcting the writings of students and researcher suggested several proposals: 3) A similar study of the current study on a larger sample. 4) A comparative study between misspellings Faculty of Languages students, and students of the Faculty of Arts at Iraqi universities.
