هدف البحث إلى تحديد مؤشرات الكفاءة الداخلية في مؤسسات التعليم العالي في ضوء معايير الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي، وقد تم بناء أداة علمية اشتملت على خمسة معايير رئيسة، وكل معيار يحوي العديد من المؤشرات التي تقيسه. طبقت الأداة على عينة عشوائية من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات جامعة الملك خالد، بلغت 487 عضواً. وقد خلص البحث إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير مؤشرات الكفاءة الداخلية بجامعة الملك خالد، حيث تمت مناقشة أهدافه وأسسه ومرتكزاته، كما تم وضع الآليات المناسبة لتحقيقه وفق المعايير الرئيسة التي تتمثل في (القيادة الجامعية، والمقررات الدراسية، والموارد البشرية، والأنشطة الطلابية، والتقويم، والاختبارات)، إضافة إلى تناول بعض المعوقات التي قد تعوق تحقيقه ومن ثم يجب التنبه لها، وأيضاً تم تقديم بعض الوسائل التي يمكن أن تسهم في التغلب على صعوبات تطبيقه، واختتم البحث بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The current research aims at identifying the indicators of internal efficiency institutions of higher education in the light of the standards of quality and academic, has been building scientific tool included on the five criteria for the President, and all the standard contains many of the indicators that measure, and a questionnaire was administered to a random sample of about 487 faculty members at the colleges of King Khalid University. The research has presented a proposal for the development of the internal efficiency of King Khalid University that includes: goals, principles and foundations, and mechanisms of implementation. The research also has identified mechanisms related to university leadership, courses, material and human resources, student activities, evaluation, tests, obstacles of implementation and ways to overcome these obstacles. Many of the recommendations and proposals came at the end of the search. (Published abstract)
