The present research sought to find out the attitudes of a sample of teachers of public secondary schools towards early retirement, and to what extent these attitudes differ according to the research variables. The number of the study sample consisted of teachers (399). The researcher used a measure of the attitude towards early retirement which was tested for its valuably and veniality. The most important search results: 1) The order of the reasons why the teacher tend to early retirement was as follows: health, materialistic, psychological, social, functional. 2) There are significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement due to the variable of sex, as it shows that females are more inclined towards early retirement. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement due to the variable of academic qualification. 4) There is significant relationship between the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement and all of the age and professional life, (r = 0.476), (r = 0.430), respectively. 5) There are significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement due to the variable of marital status, it shows that married couples are more likely than singles to seek early retirement. 6)There is no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of respondents towards early retirement depending on the specialization variable material (scientific - literary), as well as the Variable depending on the nature of work (administrative, teaching).
