تهدف الدراسة إلى بيان إمكانية استحداث خدمات معلومات جديدة تعتمد على الفهرس الآلي في مكتبة الجامعة العراقية فضلا عن خدمات المعلومات التي تقدمها المكتبة من خلاله وتحديد أهم الصعوبات التي تواجه استخدام الفهرس الآلي في مكتبة الجامعة العراقية. لقد استخدمت الدراسة كل من المنهج المسحي ومنهج دراسة الحالة. واعتمدت الدراسة على استخدام العينة العشوائية الطبقية التناسبية لتمثيل مجتمع الدراسة باستخدام أداة الاستبانه لجمع البيانات من الفئات المستفيدة البالغ عددها 250 استمارة بعد استبعاد الاستمارات غير المكتملة من أصل 1019 وهو المجتمع الكلي الذي يشمل كلًا من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية وطلبة الدراسات العليا(الماجستير والدكتوراه) والمرحلة الرابعة من الدراسات الأولية. وكان المجتمع الفعلي الذين يستخدمون المكتبة المركزية البالغ عددهم 210 وبذلك تكون نسبة الاستجابة 80% وهي نسبة قابلة للتحليل والدراسة كما وجه استبيان آخر للعاملين في المكتبة لبيان أهمية معرفة العاملين باستخدام النظام المعتمد في المكتبة، وقد خرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج أهمها: 1) لقد بينت الدراسة إمكانية المكتبة بإعادة النظر في أساليب تقديم خدماتها للمستفيدين باستخدام الفهرس الآلي الذي يساعد على تبسيط إجراءات استخدام المصادر المتوافرة منها وبالشكل الذي يعمل على استقطاب المستفيدين منها باستحداث خدمات المعلومات معتمدة عليه وهي: أ) إتاحة موقع المكتبة على شبكة النت من خلال الرابط الخاص بها: http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library ب) خدمة الاعارة الالكترونية وتشمل الحجز الالكتروني – الكتب المعارة – الكتب المفقودة, من خلال الرابط: خدمة الإعارة الالكترونية http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. ج) خدمة الاحاطة الجارية الالكترونية من خلال الرابط : خدمة الإحاطة الجارية الالكترونية http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. د) خدمة البث الانتقائي للمعلومات الالكترونية, من خلال الرابط: خدمة البث الانتقائي http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. ه) الخدمة الإعلامية الاستشارية, من خلال الرابط: الخدمة الإعلامية الاستشارية http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. و) بناء فهرس موحد مع فهارس المكتبات الفرعية في كليات الجامعة من خلال الرابط: الفهرس الموحد للمكتبة المركزية http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. 2) ان هناك نسبة 70% من إمكانية وجود تعاون مشترك لدى العاملين في المكتبة بالتعاون مع إدارتها من خلال المشاركة في اتخاذ القرارات ذات التماس المباشر مع أساليب تقديم خدمات المعلومات للمستفيدين، وقد خرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: 1) إمكانية إدارة المكتبة بأن ترصد ميزانية مناسبة لغرض استحداث خدمات معلومات محوسبة لاستثمار الفهرس الآلي المتوافر فيها وتشمل هذه الخدمات: أ) إنشاء موقع للمكتبة على شبكة النت. ب) إيجاد خدمة الإعارة الالكترونية. ج) توفير خدمة الإحاطة الجارية الالكترونية. د) بناء خدمة البث الانتقائي للمعلومات. ه) توفير الخدمة الإعلامية الاستشارية لإمكانية المستفيدين من الإعلام والاستشارة عن أي استفسار. و) أيجاد فهرس آلي موحد مع المكتبات الفرعية في الجامعة لإحالة المستفيد لمصادر أخرى. 2) ضرورة إعلام إدارة الجامعة بأهمية تطبيق واستحداث خدمات معلومات محوسبة للمستفيدين منها ودورها في تطوير العمل في المؤسسة التعليمية ومن ضمنها المكتبات الفرعية في الجامعة وضرورة وضع أطر تنظيمية ملزمة ومحددة لتطبيق واحد أو أكثر في المكتبات الفرعية في الجامعة ومتابعة تنفيذ التطبيق من خلال التقارير الأسبوعية أو الشهرية التي تصدرها المكتبة. The study aims to indicate the variety of information services provided by the library of the University of Iraq through automated catalog with the study of the possibility of introducing new information services rely on automated index in the library of the University of the Iraqi and identify the most important difficulties faced by the use of automated index in the library of the University of Iraq. I have used every study of the survey method and the case study method. The study relied on the use of a random sample stratified proportionate to represent the population of the study using the tool questionnaire to collect data on the beneficiaries of 250 form after excluding the forms incomplete out 1119, a community overall, which includes all of the faculty members and graduate students (master's and Ph.D.) and fourth stage of the preliminary studies. The community was the actual who use the Central Library’s 200 and thus the response rate 80%, the proportion subject to analysis and study as the face of another questionnaire for workers in the library to demonstrate the importance of knowing the workers using the system adopted in the library, have exited the study a number of findings, including: 1) The study has shown the possibility of the library, reconsider methods of providing services to beneficiaries using automated index which helps to simplify the procedures for the use of available resources, including the way that works to attract beneficiaries of the development of information services, which are supported by: a) access to the library site on the net, through their own link: http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. b) Electronic Service Loan include e-booking- borrowed books- books lost, through the link: Loan service electronic http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. c) Electronic Current Awareness Service, through the link: Current Awareness Service Electronic http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. d) selective service broadcasting electronic information through the link: Selective Service Broadcasting http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. e) selective dissimination of information Service http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. f) And- building a unified index with cataloging branch libraries in the faculties of the university, through the link: unified index of the Central Library http://www.aliraqia.edu.iq/central-library. 2) The percentage 70% and the possibility of the existence of a joint cooperation among workers in the library in collaboration with the management through participation in decision-making with direct contact with the methods of providing information services to the beneficiaries. The study came out a set of recommendations, including: 1) The possibility of monitoring the management of the library budget is suitable for the purpose of developing a computerized information services to the investment automated index where available services include: A) create a site for the library on the net. B) Electronic loan finding service. C) the provision of electronic current awareness service. D) Building service broadcasting selective information. E) Media advisory service provision for possible beneficiaries of Information and counseling for any inquiry. F) An index to build a unified with the branch libraries at the university to refer the beneficiary to other sources. The need Flags university administration of the importance of the application and development of information services computerized their beneficiaries and their role in development work in the institution, including the branch libraries at the university, and the need to develop regulatory frameworks binding and specific to the application of one or more branch libraries at the university and follow up the implementation of the application through weekly reports or monthly issued by the library.
