تعد الطفولة المبكرة من أهم مراحل عمر الإنسان من خلال التعلم في هذه المرحلة، وما يكتسبه الطفل من خبرات ومهارات اجتماعية وحياتية تمكنه من التفاعل والتعامل مع الآخرين في المواقف المختلفة، فهي مرحلة حاسمة في تشكيل أبعاد نمو الطفل من النواحي الجسمية والعقلية والانفعالية والاجتماعية. وبما إن اللعب هو بمثابة الحياة بالنسبة للطفل ولما له من أثر في تعليم الطفل وتنمية شخصيته وفي تحسين تواصله الإجتماعي مع الآخرين، فمن هنا جاءت الضرورة الى الاهتمام باللعب كونه وسيلة فعالة في التربية. جاءت مشكلة البحث محاولة معرفة اثر اللعب في تنمية مفهوم التنميط الجنسي لدى اطفال الرياض. ويهدف البحث تعرف: الى اثر اللعب في تنمية مفهوم التنميط الجنسي لدى اطفال الرياض. واقتصر البحث على اطفال الرياض للسنة الدراسية 2013-2014. وتحقيقا لاهداف البحث قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياسي للتنميط الجنسي (ذكور وإناث) على وفق الخطوات العلمية لبناء المقاييس النفسية وبناء برنامج انشطة اللعب،وبعد صياغة فقرات المقياسين وعددها 38 فقرة لكل مقياس، تم التأكد من صدق المقياسين (ذكور واناث) من خلال عرضه الى مجموعة من الخبراء، ثبتت صلاحيتهما ، بعد اجراء بعض التعديلات عليهما ، واضافة فقرة لكل مقياس، اصبح يحتوي كل مقياس على 39 فقرة بالصورة النهائية، فضلا عن قيام الباحثة بالتحليل الاحصائي للفقرات من خلال حساب القوة التميزية ، تبين ان هناك ثلاث فقرات في مقياس التنميط الجنسي للاناث غير مميزة واصبح المقياس يحتوي على 36 فقرة بالصورة النهائية، واربع فقرات في مقياس التنميط الجنسي للذكور غير مميزة واصبح المقياس يحتوي على 35 فقرة بالصورة النهائية، ايجاد درجة الفقرة بالدرجة الكلية، وتم التاكد من ثبات المقياسين (ذكور واناث) بطريقة الفا كرونباخ ووجد ان معامل الاستقرار يساوي 0.84 لمقياس التنميط الجنسي للذكور وكان معامل الاستقرار لمقياس التنميط الجنسي للاناث يساوي 0.86 وهذا يدل على انه دال معنويا. فضلا عن تطبيق طريقة التجزئة النصفية، فكان معامل ارتباط بيرسون لمقياس التنميط الجنسي للذكور 0.638 وعند تصحيحه بمعادلة(سبيرمان – براون) كان معامل الثبات 0.779 اما بالنسبة لمقياس التنميط الجنسي للاناث كان معامل ارتباط بيرسون 0.549 وعند تصحيحه بمعادلة (سبيرمان – براون) كان معامل الثبات 0.709 وهذا يعد مؤشرا جيدا على الاتساق الداخلي لمقياس التنميط لكل من الذكور والاناث. والاداة الثانية هي برنامج انشطة اللعب وفق الخطوات العلمية لبناء البرنامج، إذ تكون البرنامج من 13 لعبة مختلفة، وتم التأكد من صلاحية الالعاب بعرضها على مجموعة من الخبراء، وطبقت ادوات البحث على افراد العينة البالغ عددها 40 طفلا من كلا الجنسين ، اختيروا بالطريقة القصدية العمدية. في ضوء نتائج البحث التي حصلت عليها الباحثة تم التوصل الى الاستنتاجات الآتية: 1) ان اللعب له تأثير في تنمية مفهوم التنميط الجنسي لدى الذكور. 2) ان اللعب له تأثير في تنمية مفهوم التنميط الجنسي لدى الاناث. 3) ان نمط اللعب المختلط بين الذكور والاناث يساعد في تنمية مفهوم التنميط الجنسي. 4) ان اللعب يساعد الطفل على اكتساب معايير السلوك الاجتماعي المقبول الملائم لجنسه.
