هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف واقع استخدام معلمي المرحلة الثانوية في محافظة جرش لتقنية الإنترنت، واتجاهات الطلبة نحوها. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (120) معلما ومعلمة يدرسون في المرحلة الثانوية في محافظة جرش، و(300) طالب وطالبة يدرسون في المرحلة الثانوية في محافظة جرش، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي المعتمد على الاستبانة التي تم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها. ومن أبرز نتائج الدراسة أن واقع استخدام معلمي المدارس الحكومية لتقنية الإنترنت في العملية التعليمية كان متوسطا، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطوير أداة وتم التأكد من دقها وثباتها. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنه يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في واقع استخدام معلمي المدارس الحكومية لتقنية الإنترنت تعزى لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص ولصالح الإناث ومعلمي اللغة الإنجليزية على التوالي، وأن اتجاهات الطلبة نحو الانترنت كانت متوسطة، كما وأشارت إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الطلبة نحو واقع استخدام معلميهم لتقنية الإنترنت تعزى لمتغير فرع الدراسة ولصالح طلبة العلمي، وخرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات أبرزها ضرورة دمج الإنترنت في العملية التعليمية. The aim of this study is to investigate using the Internet by public secondary school teachers in Jaresh Governorate and the students’ attitudes toward it. The sample of the study consisted of (120) public secondary teachers as well as (300) secondary students from Jerash Governorate and the random stratified sample procedure was used. To achieve the goal of the study, the descriptive analysis model was used. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were checked. The results of the study showed that the using of the Internet by public school teachers was moderate. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in using the Internet by public school teachers according to gender and specialization variables in favor of female and English teachers, respectively. On the other hand, the results indicated that the attitudes of students toward internet were moderate. Moreover, the results showed there were statistically significant differences in the attitude of students toward their teachers’ using the Internet in term of the stream of study variable, in favor of scientific stream. The study recommended the necessity to integrate the Internet in the teaching and learning process. (Published Abstract)
