هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة الباحة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ومدى اختلاف هذا المستوى باختلاف متغيري السنة الدراسية والتحصيل الدراسي. وقد بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة (100) طالبا من طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة الباحة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحث بتصميم مقياس التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لقياس مستوى التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى الطلبة، وقد تكوّن المقياس من (30) فقرة، وتمّ تطبيقه خلال الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الجامعي (1434/1435ه). وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة كلية التربية في جامعة الباحة متوسطا، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى التفكير ما وراء المعرفي وفق متغير السنة الدراسية، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية وفق متغير التحصيل الدراسي. This study aims to investigate metacognition thinking level for the students in the Faculty of Education in Al - Baha University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also investigates the level of difference between the metacognition thinking level in the light of the variables of: academic year, and academic achievement. The sample of the study consisted of (100) students in the Faculty of Education in Al-Baha University. In order to achieve the goal of the study the researcher designed a metacognition thinking scale to measure metacognition thinking level for the students, which consisted of (30) items. The metacognition thinking scale was applied during the first semester of the academic year 1434/1435. The results of the study revealed that the students have a medium level of metacognition thinking level at the total score level. It indicated that there were no statistical significant differences in metacognition thinking level due to the university year level or academic achievement. (Published Abstract)
