هدف البحث إلى تعرف اتجاهات الوالدين نحو تدريس مفاهيم التربية الجنسية في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي، استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق أهداف البحث، باعتماد استبانة (مؤلفة من 31 بندا) أداة لجمع المعلومات حول المشكلة المدروسة، ووزعت الاستبانة على 319 فردا منهم 134 أبا و 185أما، وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج المتمثلة بالآتي: 1) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى 0,05 بين متوسطات إجابات الوالدين (أفراد العينة) المتعلقة باتجاهاتهم نحو تدريس مفاهيم التربية الجنسية للأبناء في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي حسب متغير جنس الوالدين. 2) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى 0,05 بين متوسطات إجابات الوالدين أفراد العينة المتعلقة بتدريس التربية الجنسية في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي حسب متغير مستوى التعليم للوالدين (تعليم ما قبل الجامعي- تعليم جامعي-دراسات عليا)، لصالح الدراسات العليا. 3) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى 0,05 بين متوسطات إجابات الوالدين (أفراد العينة) المتعلقة باتجاهاتهم نحو تدريس مفاهيم التربية الجنسية للأبناء في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي حسب متغير البيئة (ريف- مدينة). ومن خلال هذه النتائج خلص البحث إلى مقترحات عدة من أهمها: 1) العمل على تفعيل دور الشراكة بين الأسرة والمدرسة في تقديم التربية الجنسية من خلال تعزيز دور الإعلام المحلي لما يقوم به من دور مهم في نشر التوعية وتحقيق التكامل والتعاون بينهما، وعقد لقاءات دورية بين المعلمين وأولياء الأمور لمناقشة أفضل السبل في مجال تعليم أبنائهم الأمور الجنسية الصحيحة وحل قضاياهم المتعلقة بالجنس. 2) إعطاء التربية الجنسية اهتماما كبيرا في المدارس باعتبارها المصدر الرئيس في تقديم مفاهيم التربية الجنسية بطريقة علمية تناسب جميع المراحل العمرية، وتشبع الحاجات المعرفية للتلاميذ في الموضوعات ذات الصلة بالتربية الجنسية. The research aims at getting to know the attitude of parents towards teaching the concepts of sex at the basic stag of education. The analytical descriptive approach was used for achieving the objectives of the research through the use of a questionnaire (consisting 31 components) as a tool for gathering information about the problem studied. The questionnaire (319 items) was distributed to 134 fathers and 185 mothers. The findings were represented in the Following: 1) There are no significant statistical differences on the significance level 0.05 among the averages of parents (sample members)responses related to their attitudes towards teaching the concepts of sex to children at the basic stage according to the variable of the sex of parents. 2) There are significant statistical differences at the significance level 0,05 among the averages of the parents` responses related to their attitudes towards teaching sex education at the basic education stage as per the variable of the level of education of the parents (pre-university, university،higher studies) in favor of the higher studies. 3)There are no significance statistical differences at the significance level 0.05 among the averages of the parents` responses related to their attitudes towards teaching the concepts of sex to their children at the basic educational stag as per the variable of the environment (city countryside).Through these findings, the research came up with the following propositions most important of which are: A-Working to activate the role of partnership between school and the family in introducing sex education via enhancing the role of local media and their important role in spreading awareness and achieving integration and cooperation between them, and via holding several periodic meetings between teachers and guardians to discuss the best means in the field of teaching their children correct sex matters and in order to solve their sex related problems. B-Giving sex education a lot of attention at schools since it is the main source to introduce the concepts of sex education in a correct and scientific way in line with the different age groups that could meet the cognitive needs of students on matters related to sex education.
